The Sector performs the following works

  • drafting of laws and by-laws from the scope of the RGA;
  • providing opinions on draft laws and other legal acts proposed by other public administration bodies;
  • preparing professional opinions and providing explanations on the application of laws and by-laws in the scope of the RGA;
  • initiating the adoption of laws and by-laws within the scope of the RGA, as well as their amendments in order to harmonize them with the regulations of the European Union;
  • preparation of submissions in court and other proceedings;
  • processing requests for the provision of the service of creating new cartographic publications;
  • drawing up contracts in the field of cartographic publications;
  • preparation and drafting of decisions based on appeals filed against the decisions of the first-instance authorities in the field of Real Estate Cadastre and Utility Cadastre;
  • preparation of responses to lawsuits in administrative disputes, as well as acting on the orders of the Administrative Court;
  • receiving, delivering, archiving and extracting archival materials;
  • maintenance of the RGA's facilities and vehicle fleet;
  • public procurement of goods, services and works for the needs of the RGA;
  • keeping records on the awarding of contracts on public procurement of goods, services and works;
  • storage;
  • updates of databases on vehicles, decisions and contracts of the RGA;
  • safety and health at work and fire safety;
  • direct business communication and cooperation with the Local Real Estate Cadastre Offices in areas within the purview of the Sector;
  • cooperation with other lower level organizational units of the RGA in the field of work;
  • cooperation with competent national bodies;
  • issuing answers and explanations to pleadings and complaints of natural and legal persons;
  • participation in the implementation of international and donor projects;
  • participation in the development of the RGA's medium-term work program;
  • creating the work plan of the Sector and monitoring its implementation.
