The Republic Geodetic Authority, through its specialized Archive Department, takes care of preserving, revitalizing and digitizing the entire existing archival material. The archival material represents the history of survey and maintenance, and after taking over the land registers, the history of ownership until the establishment of the Real Estate Cadastre. The Archive stores valuable documents about surveys of our territory and field work in the 20th century.
The new building of the Archive of the Republic Geodetic Authority was opened on May 27th, 2022, during the celebration of 185 years of geodetic activity in Serbia. Built according to world standards, the Archive of the Republic Geodetic Authority represents a permanent solution to the issue of document storage, with digitization that enables citizens and the business sector to access data by a single click.
