The Sector performs the following works

  • development, design and implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) for the needs of the RGA;
  • development and implementation of the ICT strategy;
  • support for the implementation and maintenance of the geodetic cadastral information system according to defined principles;
  • identification, analysis and systematization of problems and risks in the implementation and utilization of applications and participation in their resolution;
  • monitoring the ICT development and preparing proposals for their implementation;
  • management, development and maintenance of architecture and data structure within the jurisdiction of the RGA;
  • participation in the design of information systems (IS) for the purposes of the RGA;
  • defining the strategy, methodology, instructions and procedures for improving the quality of the Real Estate Cadastre data and infrastructure;
  • updating and improving the quality of the Real Estate Cadastre data and infrastructure;
  • control of implementation and confirmation of quality control of the Real Estate Cadastre data and infrastructure;
  • coordination with lower-level internal units outside the headquarters of the RGA (responsible for maintaining the Real Estate Cadastre data and infrastructure) on data quality improvement;
  • implementation of modern ICT for data administration, development and maintenance of information systems;
  • maintenance of the Real Estate Cadastre information system;
  • generation and distribution of reports at the user's request from the Real Estate Cadastre databases;
  • harmonization with international standards and recommendations in the field of ICT and geoinformation;
  • management and maintenance of the RGA's computer network and connection with other public administration bodies for the implementation of the e-government project;
  • maintenance of the RGA's WEB page;
  • development and maintenance of WEB applications and services of the RGA;
  • proposing procedures for controlling the quality and security of data and systems, as well as the implementation of adopted procedures;
  • monitoring of modern trends in the development of the ICT and the field of geoinformation;
  • preparation of a procurement plan proposal and specifications for the procurement of computer and communication equipment;
  • management and maintenance of the central database of the Address Register;
  • processing administrative cases of the Address Register ex officio and at the request of the party;
  • use of new technologies such as distance learning and keeping IT skills of civil servants of the RGA up-to-date;
  • creation and editing of the knowledge base on business processes and applications and connection to the Helpdesk;
  • updating the database of the RGA's computer equipment;
  • direct business communication and cooperation with the local real estate cadastre offices in areas within the purview of the Sector;
  • participation in the realization of international and donor projects;
  • participation in the preparation of professional bases for drafting laws and proposals for by-laws from the scope of the Sector;
  • participation in the development of the RGA's medium-term work program;
  • preparation of the work plan of the Sector and monitoring of its implementation.
